Ten years have past since people with abilities have been appearing all over the world. The world has taken a turn for the worst with the inauguration of Matthew Triggs to the White House. Congress has since been overtaken by Syndicate Members and Triggs is now free to do as he pleases. Civilian classification was implemented and all Metas became First-Class Citizens and Humans, or Non-Metas, have become the low Second-Class Citizens.
All Heroes that once were have scattered, lost, haunted by the dreams of what could have been. There is no hope, Triggs is unstoppable, the future as we know it is over. President Triggs and his army of Syndicate members have become Big Brother, and we are never out of his sight.
