Vendetta

The world is safe again, and as the heroes attempt to reclaim their old lives, content that the world no longer needs them they discover new threats, new powers and new heroes.

As a new threat threatens to overwhelm them all heroes, old and new, rise up to fight the darkness and once again to save the world.

-=THE VISION=-

Adrian, a young boy in San Diego has had a vision of the coming disaster.

Three people are standing back to back in an open area, could be a field, a park, anywhere. They're fighting off an army coming at them from all sides. The army consists of people Adrian had never seen before, they seem to be a hodge podge of all sorts of lifestyles. One comes up and is thrown across the area by one of the three, another defender throws fire at his attacker, and the third yells something that Adrian can't hear.

Then a man in a dark colored trench coat, his face is hidden in shadows. He's waiting as a woman walks by. He walks behind her and states that he's finally found the linchpin in his plan, then kills her by smacking her over the head with a blunt instrument. The blood spatters on his face and he wipes it off. As he bends over her body he says.
“So that's how it works.”

Then finally there was a bright orange glare and then suddenly he’d gotten an over head view of a group of six people standing in a ring of fire. There was one man snapping his finger and every time he did the flames wavered and then got stronger. He was laughing, the other five people closed in on him. Then with another snap of his fingers they were sent flying towards the flames.


What do these images mean for the future?

With the revelation that Ian has been the one killing powered people the race is now on. To track him down and put an end to his killing spree.

While Jasmine recruits heroes to fight Ian, and to warn others, Adrian Kelly and Steve try to decipher the vision and lean the reasons behind it.

Heroes across the world converge on Ian. Some for justice, some for revenge, some for answers....
