Kali Fey was raised in a Catholic family where she was the only child. Her life fit the model that most children yearn for. She got whatever she wanted, as long as she behaved herself and did as she was told.
At the age of seven, her parents had a falling out. Kali never understood why but from that point on her parents' relationship never seemed the same. Some nights her father would come home late from work, and a fight was sure to happen.
When these fights happened, Kali would always hide in her room, praying that the fight would stop, that there was something she could do to end it.
During one of these fights, Kali finally decided that she would try to stop it. She bravely walked into the living room where her parents were yelling at each other. Her dad looked at her, preparing to yell, but he fell to the floor dead as soon as contact was made. Her mother, whose eyes were wet with tears, looked at her with a pleading expression. Little did her mother know, that was the last expression she would make.
Kali ran from the scene. She ran into the city and lived under the surname Fey, different than the one she was born with.
A few years later, she was walking home to her flat in NYC. A man came up to her and attempted to mug her. He pulled off her glasses in the process, and when eye contact was made, he fell dead. A pol;iceman happened to see the entire thing. Luckily, he recognized her for what she was, and handed her a card with the address of Triggs Tower.

Power(s):

**Deathstare - When eye contact is made, the person who she is looking at dies. Different typed of glass and opacity change the chances of an instant death, which is why Kali is never found without glasses.
