William was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He was the son of a Computer Programmer and a schoolteacher. He had an average income family, but he grew up not really wanting for anything. He was an only child.

When William was born his parents were ecstatic. He was a late in life child, and neither of them thought that they would be able to have a child at their old age. He was treated very nicely by both parents.
When William entered high school, he became known as a ladies man. He would always be seen hanging around girls more than guys. Probably because he cared a lot more about things than any of the other guys did. He was a good listener, and he tried to help out when he could.
William's college career went very smoothly, and he graduated a full semester earlier than the average. He majored in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.
Shortly after graduation his powers manifested. He was typing one handed on his laptop while watching TV. In his other hand a laptop appeared. He quickly realized his newfound power and used it to his advantage. He made copies of things like gold bars by changing the molecules of other materials and sold them. With this money he bought an electronics company and changed its name to Marvolo Electronics. After this he bought out Securicorp. A company specializing in security equipment and cameras.
